The Business Office is accountable for effectively utilizing financial resources to ensure the success of the students in the school districts served by Overton ISD. The Business Office is responsible for district accounting, budgeting, payroll, employee benefits, purchasing, vendor payments, and school board elections.
Services

Budgeting - Preparing and recommending a district Budget that balances revenues and expenditures.

Investments - Managing investments to maximize resources available for district operations while insuring the safety and liquidity of district funds.

Payroll - Processing and distributing paychecks to all employees in an accurate and timely manner.

Purchasing - Procuring goods and services needed for the operation of Overton ISD while complying with state and federal purchasing laws and rules and district policy.

Reporting - Providing accurate and timely information to the Board of Trustees.

Revenue Collection - Receiving and accurately recording funds received from clients served by Overton ISD.

Tax Rate - Determining and recommending a tax rate sufficient to provide for district revenue needs.
Business hours are from 8:00 - 4:00 Monday through Fridays.
