OISD District of Innovation

Overton ISD is seeking interested citizens of OISD to serve on a District of Innovation Committee.  The District of Innovation designation would allow OISD to waive some Texas Education Agency rules to make education in Overton more locally controlled.  Anyone interested in serving on this committee may contact any OISD Board Member, campus principal, or the superintendent.
The committee will meet at least once per month throughout the spring and early summer.

Congratulations to Emery Stark for placing 3rd in the talent contest at the Longview District FFA Convention.
