A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Overton ISD will be held April 24, 2008, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Overton High School Library, 501 E. Henderson, Overton, Texas.
1. Call to Order
2. Members Present
3. Discussion with TASB Consultant regarding Superintendent/CEO search process
4. Closed Meeting/Executive Session: The Board will enter Executive Session and hold a Closed Meeting as per Texas Government Code Section 551.071 & 551.074 and pursuant to district policy. Items to be discussed include, but are not limited to:
4.1. Board interview and discussion of Superintendent/CEO applicants
5. Approve the number of applicants to be interviewed
6. Adjournment
If during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Govt. Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D&E.
